Physiotherapist Nadia Díaz Expósito earned her degree in physiotherapy in June 2026 from the University of La Laguna in Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spain). Her goal is to support you at every stage of your recovery, helping you return to enjoying what matters most to you. Nadia views physiotherapy as a collaborative journey; for her, rapport, trust, and communication are the pillars of every session.
She is passionate about helping you understand what is happening within your body, addressing your concerns, and ensuring you are an active participant in the process. It is not just about alleviating pain today—it is about providing you with the tools to prevent it tomorrow and helping you regain confidence in your movement. She specializes in traumatology, sports physiotherapy, and functional rehabilitation, combining manual therapy with therapeutic exercise. Furthermore, she is committed to continuous professional development, ensuring she offers the most effective, state-of-the-art techniques in her practice. Her advanced clinical toolkit includes a recent specialization in dry needling and electroacupuncture for clinical pathologies, completed at the renowned FisioForm academy.
Dry Needling is an invasive physiotherapeutic technique in which I use thin acupuncture needles—without injecting any substances—to target myofascial trigger points (those deep, painful “knots” or contractures). The goal is to provide a mechanical stimulus that “deactivates” the point of tension, alleviating pain and rapidly restoring mobility.
Clinical Electroacupuncture serves as an ideal complement, enhancing these results; it involves applying a gentle, low-frequency therapeutic electrical current through the same needles. This combination works at a deep neuromuscular level, accelerating the regeneration of damaged tissue and ensuring maximum relaxation of the affected muscles. It is particularly effective for back pain, neck stiffness, epicondylitis (tennis elbow), and chronic tendon issues.
Since no two bodies are the same, physiotherapist Nadia develops treatment plans that are 100% tailored to each patient’s specific goals, pace, and progress. She works in partnership with the patient to help them achieve the optimal well-being they deserve.
She is a registered physiotherapist with the official professional body for physiotherapists in the Canary Islands (Colegio Oficial de Fisioterapeutas de Canarias), holding registration number 4446.
